Why Should I Choose The Chair Tailor To Fit Chair Covers For My Event?

We provide a first class service which includes sourcing chair covers and materials of the finest quality. 

We use very reputable suppliers who are also able to provide us with chair covers of many different shapes and sizes so we are able to fit most types of chairs. 

We also have our chair covers professionally laundered after every use to make sure they are in immaculate condition prior to the next event. 

We also hang all our covers (they are never boxed) in order to avoid creasing.   

Our sashes are also pressed before each event.

What Does This Service Include?

The hire of our chair covers for an event includes the following:

·         Delivery to the event by ourselves

·         Fitting of chair covers and sashes

·         Any additional steaming of chair covers on site

·         Collection of chair covers post event

·         Laundry

Do You Provide A DIY Service?

No.  We pride ourselves in offering a quality service where we provide the best looking chair covers and sashes for every event.

Therefore, our service includes us fitting the covers  to ensure an outstanding appearance.

This means we have plenty of time to make your chair covers look their best on your special day.

Because we also hang our chair covers to avoid creasing we are also unable to send them out to you to do yourselves.

How Do I Know You Have Chair Covers To Fit My Venue?

The Chair Tailor does not work from pictures or measurements of chairs.

We visit every new venue prior to an event to ensure we have the correct chair cover to fit.

Do We Need To Pay A Deposit For Chair Cover Hire?

Yes. We require a £50.00 deposit to secure any booking made with us.  The deposit must be returned with your completed booking form. 

Will We Receive A Receipt Following A Deposit Payment?

Yes. Once we have received your deposit cheque and completed booking form we will send you out written confirmation of this in the post.

When Will We Be Required To Send The Balance Of Our Payment?

The balance of your final payment is required four weeks prior to your event.  Once we have received your final payment, a receipt will be sent to you in the post. 

What Methods Of Payment Do You accept?

We currently only accept payment by cheque.  (All payments made payable to ‘The Chair Tailor’).

Is VAT Included In The Pricing?

Yes.

Are We Required To Pay A Deposit For Any Items That May Be Damaged Or Lost?

Yes.  We require a separate security deposit for £100.00 in the form of a cheque when you pay your final balance.

When Will The Chairs Be Dresses At My Venue?

The Chair Tailor will liaise with your event co-ordinator prior to your event to ensure we know the time we can access the venue, and what time we can collect the covers after the event.

What Colour Of Chair Covers Can You Supply?

We have lots of different sized chair covers in stock; most of these are white as we have found the demand for white chair covers is much greater. 

However, we do stock several sizes of chair covers in ivory too.  Please contact us separately about this.

Do You Have A Sash That Matches The Colour I Require?

We have many different coloured sashes in stock, and we can send you out samples of these colours should you require them. 

If we are unsure we have the type of colour you require in stock then you are most welcome to send us a material sample and we can try to find you a better colour match if it is available.

Is There A Minimum Number Of Chair Covers I Can Order For An Event?

The minimum number of chair covers that can be ordered is 40.  We will except orders below this number, but this will be subject to an additional charge.

Is There A Charge For Travel Costs?

We travel to venues up to 40 miles away, which is included in the cost of hire. 

For venues over this distance we will charge extra for travelling to and from the venue.
